They were lovingly tended and bought into peak condition for the display at the railway stations from early summer and will continue right through to autumn.<\/p>\n<p>The aim of the local charity, ActivLives, is to bring people together in an active and healthy way to improve the vitality of their communities and the lives of the people who live in them.<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_18424\" style=\"width: 419px\" class=\"wp-caption alignleft\"><a href=\"http:\/\/newclone.retiremove.co.uk\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/06\/kri.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-18424\" class=\"wp-image-18424 size-full\" src=\"http:\/\/newclone.retiremove.co.uk\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/06\/kri.jpg\" alt=\"kri\" width=\"409\" height=\"614\" data-id=\"18424\" srcset=\"https:\/\/newclone.retiremove.co.uk\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/06\/kri.jpg 409w, https:\/\/newclone.retiremove.co.uk\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/06\/kri-200x300.jpg 200w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 409px) 100vw, 409px\" \/><\/a><p id=\"caption-attachment-18424\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">L-R Jackie Rathbone Abellio Area Ticket Office Manager, Kris Collins Thompson &amp; Morgan, Ric Staines ActivGardens<\/p><\/div>\n<p>ActivLives Lead Horticulturalist and Trainer Ric Staines commented: \u201cOur students have gained valuable skills relevant to working in the horticultural industry.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;We were happy to work in partnership with Abellio Greater Anglia and Thompson &amp; Morgan to bring this project to fruition and we hope all rail passengers will enjoy the efforts we\u2019ve made to brighten up their journeys.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Thompson &amp; Morgan has also helped give our young horticulturalists new experience in the world of business.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Based in Ipswich since 1855, the mail-order company Thompson &amp; Morgan donated all the plants, baskets compost and feed.<\/p>\n<p>The begonia \u2018Apricot Shades\u2019 was chosen for its perpetual flowering, undemanding habit and\u00a0ability to withstand\u00a0the vagaries of\u00a0British summer weather.<\/p>\n<p>A dazzling array of sunny colour combinations of double blooms in tones of peach, orange, apricot and yellow will only improve as the summer progresses.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">Thompson &amp; Morgan Horticultural Director, Paul Hansord said \u201cWhen it comes to hanging baskets \u2018Apricot Shades\u2019 is always our first choice.
