There\u2019s also the Harbour Lights cinema in Southampton where they show live streaming of opera and ballet so I am lucky to have so much on my doorstep.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft wp-image-23780\" src=\"http:\/\/newclone.retiremove.co.uk\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/11\/Gillian-Webb-5.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"554\" height=\"370\" data-id=\"23780\" \/>Gillian was a model in the 50s modelling collections in Paris and New York before studying sculpture at the Royal College of Art. Two years ago she bought a two-bedroom apartment at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.anchor.org.uk\">Anchor<\/a>\u2019s flagship retirement village which has 91 one-and two-bedroom apartments and an 48-room care home.<\/p>\n<p>A second phase of 73 properties is underway with one beds priced from \u00a3345,000.<\/p>\n<p>Bristol Rovers season-ticket holders, Wendy and Ray Watson, will be able to walk to their club ground when they move into their two-bedroom apartment at PegasusLife\u2019s new development, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thevincent.co.uk\">Vincent<\/a>, due for completion in July.<\/p>\n<p>Wendy 73 and retired teacher Ray, 68 are moving just half a mile from their current home so they can be walking distance from their favourite haunts in the city centre; Harvey Nicholls (30 minutes), Everyman cinema and Bristol Old Vic (20 minutes) Waitrose (10 minutes).<\/p>\n<p>Wendy, who ran a marathon in 2013, says, \u201cWe can\u2019t wait. Vincent is in the perfect location; closer to our favourite places than we are now.
