For John and Frances Jenkins, the answer was to buy a Beechcroft home at Maygate Place in Medstead, as Mrs Jenkins explains:<\/p>\n
\u201cBefore we moved to Maygate Place, we lived in a lovely apartment on the first and second floors of an attractive old building in Bentley near Farnham but when my husband started to have mobility problems, the external staircase proved too much of a challenge.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cWe knew we\u2019d have to move and we\u2019d started to look for a new home. We found somewhere that was a \u2018possible\u2019 but we would have needed to build a large conservatory because everything was so much smaller than we were used to.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cOne day, when we were on our way to some further viewings, we received a leaflet through the door providing details of Beechcroft\u2019s Maygate Place. It wasn\u2019t too far from Bentley so we thought we\u2019d take a look. Our first impression was that it was perfect; just right for us.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cAt the time about four of the new homes had already been built and we loved the show home. The rooms sizes are good \u2013 it\u2019s so unusual to find such a spacious retirement property and to have three bedrooms was a bonus. We could see that our furniture would fit in \u2013 and we know, and like, the area.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cOur former home took some time to sell but we reduced the price in order to get a quick sale in order to move to Maygate Place \u2013 and we bought the show home. Whilst we loved our former home, we simply outgrew it \u2013 and it\u2019s so nice to have everything new.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cWe have a large family and their opinion was very important to us. It\u2019s so easy to get swayed when you\u2019re viewing a beautiful new home but they all came to see it including our daughter and granddaughter who live locally and our son who lives in Germany. They all loved the Beechcroft property and agreed it was perfect for us.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cThe estate management service will prove useful and we have some nice neighbours \u2013 we have already been invited for drinks and nibbles so when a few more people move in, there will be a good sense of community.\u201d<\/p>\n
