I had really excellent care in extremely comfortable surroundings. Everyone went out of their way to make my stay enjoyable.”

Weeks spent in hospital meant that Michael’s muscles had weakened considerably, so the daily physiotherapy sessions were instrumental in his recovery.

Physiotherapist Francesca Sparke and her team physio team provided twice daily sessions in the dedicated gym area.

Michael particularly benefitted from using the ‘Motomed,’ a special exercise bike which enabled him to quickly re-build his fitness.

Michael adds, “I was given physiotherapy by Francesca to strengthen my muscles. Francesca is not only an excellent physiotherapist, she is also a charming and sympathetic person, and I really enjoyed my sessions with her.

“My week at the Albert Suites has greatly contributed to my ongoing recovery, and I will be continuing regular physiotherapy as an outpatient, in the hope that I can maintain and build on the progress I have already made”.

Stephanie Larby adds: “Nursing homes such as Albert Suites can free up an acute hospital bed preventing a delayed transfer of care.

“This is something which occurs when a patient is in the wrong care setting for their current level of need which affect a hospital’s ability to admit new patients, so can contribute to longer waiting times”.

The Albert Suites provide luxurious surroundings for residents and hotel-inspired facilities from 24-hour room service to a chef-led menu that provides restaurant-plated meals.

Each suite is equipped with kitchenettes and en-suite bathrooms. Facilities are also available for family or friends to stay overnight. There is also a garden offering a tranquil place to sit or stroll, within the vibrancy of the King’s Road. A night’s stay costs from £375.

https://www.lifecareresidences.co.uk/nursing-homes/albert-suites/

[/et_pb_text][et_pb_map _builder_version=”3.19.12″ zoom_level=”14″ address_lat=”51.47767379743347″ address_lng=”-0.16321349618070302″ address=”Battersea, London SW11 1RU, UK”][et_pb_map_pin _builder_version=”3.19.12″ zoom_level=”18″ pin_address_lat=”51.47781060000001″ pin_address_lng=”-0.16476209999996172″ db_start_open=”off” pin_address=”London SW11 4DS, UK” /][/et_pb_map][/et_pb_column][/et_pb_row][/et_pb_section]

Purpose built in 2016, on the edge of Chelsea in London, The Albert Suites have been designed in the style of a boutique hotel, offering bespoke care packages using modern gadgetry and expert skills to hasten and improve recovery.
