<\/a>Violet Teague, 71, who has more than 32 years\u2019 experience selling new homes in the Aberdeenshire residential market has come out of retirement and become a part-time sales advisor at Brio Retirement Living\u2019s Landale Court in Chapelton.<\/p>\nBased in the sales suite at Liddell Park, Violet is helping retirees who are interested in buying a new home at Landale Court, showcasing the range of stylish properties, providing advice on the care and support services available and the lifestyle on offer.<\/p>\n
Violet brings with her a wealth of experience of working in new home sales, in particular selling to over 55s, having worked for some of the region\u2019s biggest names in property.<\/p>\n
Violet, who is originally from Aberdeen and now lives in Fordoun, said: \u201cI retired two years ago, but I missed the buzz of selling fantastic new homes and meeting so many lovely people. I\u2019m a real people person and I\u2019m still full of bounce. I enjoy helping people find a new home and guiding them through the process.<\/p>\n
\u201cFinding the right home in your retirement years is such a big decision.<\/p>\n
People are often downsizing from a larger house that may have become too much for them to maintain or coping with changes to their health, this might mean they or their partner are looking for the peace of mind that care and support is available should they need it.<\/p>\n

Violet, who joined Brio at the end of January, is part of a growing number of retirees choosing to work in their later years.<\/p>\n
Brio Landale Court will consist of 94 new one-and-two-bedroom apartments and cottages in the picturesque new town of Chapelton.<\/p>\n
The first homeowners are set to move in during the summer.<\/p>\n
