Retirement living specialist Rangeford has launched a new home-buying service to help speed up buyers’ moves to their two retirement communities.<\/h3>\n

The service, which includes a pledge to complete your move in 45 days, offers a solution to retirees wanting to move to\u00a0Mickle Hill in Pickering, North Yorkshire, and Wadswick Green near Bath in Wiltshire quicker than they thought possible.<\/p>\n

The sale of the buyer’s current home is handled by house-buying partners National Property Trade, freeing you from the stress of dealing with estate agents and other sellers in your chain and letting you focus on your move.<\/p>\n

The process starts with a discussion of each resident\u2019s personal situation on a confidential one-to-one basis.<\/p>\n

The Stamp Duty Holiday is having an impact already and we\u2019ve received quite a few enquiries following the announcement<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

You can choose a convenient moving date, and your current home is then professionally valued and surveyed by National Property Trade and two independent local estate agents.<\/p>\n

A thorough RICS survey is undertaken and then a guaranteed cash offer made.<\/p>\n

The offer is non-obligatory, and if accepted National Property Trade will then buy your home in cash, with payment guaranteed to be completed in as little as 14 days.<\/p>\n

This process involves no Estate Fees.<\/p>\n

Your home will then be put on the market by National Property, allowing you to move on and settle into your new home.<\/p>\n

The service is offered with a 45-day pledge. This complements the recent government announcement that all home buyers in the UK will be exempt from paying Stamp Duty on a property priced up to \u00a3500,000 subject to legal completion by 31st<\/sup> March 2021.<\/p>\n

Yvette Jones, Sales Manager at Mickle Hill, said: \u201cThe Stamp Duty Holiday is having an impact already and we\u2019ve received quite a few enquiries following the announcement which is very positive.<\/p>\n

“We\u2019d found that the sluggish property market had caused many retirees to be worried that they would not be able to sell their home when downsizing to a retirement property.<\/p>\n

“Stamp duty also represents a big outlay for people in that age group and it can sometimes be another deterrent to moving, so I think it will certainly make a difference.\u201d<\/p>\n
