<\/a>However, when the pandemic hit at the start of the year, their plans were put on hold and, like the rest of the UK, they found themselves spending more time at home.<\/p>\nThe couple, who currently live in Epping Forest in London weren\u2019t actively looking for a new property, but when they came across Renaissance Sandbanks Road<\/a> community and the spacious two bedroom apartment on offer, they knew it was for them.<\/p>\n \u201cWe were just flicking through the Daily Mail one Saturday morning, and came across the new homes in a property supplement. We then called Renaissance on the Monday to register our interest and everything went from there\u201d said Mr Russell.<\/p>\n \u201cGoing on holiday and trying out different cruises is how we\u2019ve been enjoying our retirement so far, and where we\u2019re based now gives us easy access to four different airports. Though having had to shield for the past five-months, it doesn\u2019t look like we\u2019ll be getting on a flight anytime soon.<\/p>\n \u201cLiving in London has been fantastic, but we\u2019ve always loved Poole and the South Coast, having spent a lot of time there over the years. With the pandemic, it felt like now is the time to make the move to a home we can continue to explore.\u201d<\/p>\n The couple were particularly drawn to the location of the community, adding: \u201cThe location is ideal, there is a bus stop just outside, with services into Bournemouth and Southampton, and we\u2019re especially excited about being able to take walks along the sea front.<\/p>\n \u201cWe\u2019re really not ready to spend the rest of our days in front of the TV and feel that this provides the perfect blend for us. We love that our new home will be maintenance-free but for us, the security is a great draw. If we do get to cruise again, it\u2019s fantastic to know we just need to lock the front door, and everything is safe and sound.\u201d<\/p>\n Renaissance\u2019s Sandbanks Road community overlooks the picturesque Poole Park.<\/p>\n The development offers a stunning collection of 32 one- and two-bedroom homes, owners\u2019 social lounge and kitchen, guest suite, landscaped gardens and secure underground parking.<\/p>\n
