Four of Adlington Retirement Living\u2019s new retirement communities will be hosting a series of coffee mornings over the coming weeks for those looking to retire in style and meet some friendly homeowners<\/h3>\n

Coffee mornings will take place in July and August at The Sidings in Lytham, Lancashire; Broadleaf House in Wylde Green, West Midlands; The Newells in Kempston, Bedfordshire; and The Spindles in Menston, West Yorkshire.<\/p>\n

Alexandra Johnson, Sales and Marketing Director for Adlington Retirement Living, explains: \u201cOur coffee mornings provide a relaxed and informal opportunity for customers to meet some of our homeowners and find out more about their experience of living in a retirement community.<\/p>\n

“Anybody who would like to visit will be made very welcome and can enjoy a tour from our friendly sales teams, along with complimentary tea, coffee and a selection of freshly baked biscuits and cakes.\u201d<\/p>\n

The four locations are all at the heart of the community with convenient access to local amenities and excellent transport links.<\/p>\n

The bustling seaside town of Lytham is nestled along a picturesque stretch of the Lancashire coastline, perfect for exploring the character and atmosphere of the town centre, which is just a short walk away, renowned golf courses, or to take in the fresh sea air.<\/p>\n

“If anybody wants to chat, they go and sit in the coffee lounge and invariably, the crowd will gather and that\u2019s how it goes. You\u2019re never short of somebody to talk to.\u201d<\/p>\n

In addition to the privacy of their own peaceful and spacious apartment, homeowners can enjoy the communal facilities as an extension of their home.<\/p>\n

All Adlington communities have a restaurant, homeowners\u2019 lounge, hair salon, therapy suite, and activities studio, as well as a guest suite with an en-suite bathroom for visiting friends and family who wish to stay overnight.<\/p>\n

Cath, who moved to The Sidings in February 2023, said: \u201cOne of the biggest benefits since moving here is not being isolated and having the support of the staff and the friendships.<\/p>\n

“That\u2019s a big part of living here. You can choose to be on your own if you want to, but if not, you can go and find somebody and have a coffee with them and a chat. Undoubtedly this has been the best move for me.<\/p>\n

“The staff are lovely, and the other homeowners are too. My friends who come to stay think it\u2019s a lovely place to be, and in fact, one of my very good friends from school days has put a deposit down on an apartment here. I\u2019ve got no regrets whatsoever. I\u2019m happy here.\u201d<\/p>\n

All apartments include fully fitted carpets and fireplaces plus quality, fully fitted kitchens with integrated appliances.<\/p>\n

Many feature en-suite shower rooms as well as separate bathrooms, and most have walk-out balconies or a private patio area overlooking the landscaped gardens.<\/p>\n

The gardens themselves are beautifully manicured and maintained, offering plenty of opportunities to relax in peaceful surroundings, with seating areas, thoughtful pathways, and a summer house to enjoy.<\/p>\n

The 24-hour on-site support team will provide homeowners with added peace of mind and, if needed, optional personal care packages can be tailored to individual needs.<\/p>\n

In addition to this, there is a sophisticated emergency call system and a security video entry system to manage access.<\/p>\n

Coffee mornings will take place from 10.30am to 11.45am<\/strong><\/p>\n
